“It’s an incredible privilege to be included in Stanford’s top 2% of scientists worldwide. This recognition not only highlights the impact of our work but also reflects the dedication and innovation of our entire team,” says Prof. Gattinoni.
Drawing on data from Scopus, a leading abstract and citation database, the Stanford ranking examines approximately 8 million scientists’ citation records, ranking the top 200,000 most-cited authors across all scientific fields. The ranking provides standardized metrics, such as total citations, h-index, co-authorship adjusted hm-index, and a composite indicator (c-score). Separate data are shown for both career-long and single recent year impact. Career-long data are updated to the end of 2023, whereas single recent year data pertain to citations received during calendar year 2023.
