LIT Postdoc Retreat 2025

At the Retreat the LITs almost 20 Postdocs had the chance to take time away from research to reflect on their career development. The day started with Monika Hirmer from the University Regensburg who gave insights on habilitation requirements, followed by a career panel with LIT principal investigators sharing the lessons learned along their individual and varied career paths in research. Prof. Ralf Wagner, a group leader at the University of Regensburg and previously co-founder of Geneart, provided an industry seminar on navigating the balance between academia and industry work, and provided insight on entrepreneurship/start-up culture from a unique local Regensburg perspective. The Postdoc Retreat ended with a casual coffee workshop and latte art social event in the city.
