Prof. Philipp Beckhove, Scientific Director, Prof. Dr. Matthias Edinger, and Prof. Dr. Hinrich Abken provided detailed information about the cutting-edge medical research at the LIT. The scientists fascinated their visitors with presentations on new approaches for treating severe diseases such as cancer, autoimmune diseases, and rejection reactions following transplants. They vividly described how research at the LIT in Regensburg is already benefiting seriously ill patients in clinical trials at multiple locations today.
