bio:cap: Impulses for Even Greater Transformation of Immunotherapy Research into Innovative Solutions for Patients
Transforming promising research results from Europe, and especially from Germany, into market-ready innovations and products: this is the shared goal that brought together participants at the international life science and AI trade fair bio:cap at the City Cube in Berlin, in June 2026. Scientists, innovative start-ups, established industry leaders, and international investors came together for this purpose. LIT participants were also present, working to turn their immunotherapy research into innovative solutions for patients.

Dr. Frauke Hoffmann from the Immunology Division and Franziska Roscher from the T-Cell Fitness translational group presented LIT innovations and projects, as well as ongoing and planned clinical trials. This gave an international audience insights into their research work, bringing it one step closer to practical application and ultimately to patients.

Over the course of the three-day trade fair, there were intensive discussions with potential investors about funding forward-looking projects. New ideas and contacts also emerged for possible collaborations and strategic partnerships. Representatives of start-ups and other research institutions also provided valuable insights and inspiration.
