The German Council of Science and Humanities recognized the outstanding quality of the scientific work conducted by the RCI, its international visibility, and the structural relevance to the science system.
On the basis of this evaluation the GWK (Gemeinsame Wissenschaftskonferenz) will make a final decision in spring regarding the final integration of the RCI in the Leibniz Association.
“In the past years, the RCI has made tremendous efforts to bring together extraordinary scientists with complementing expertise covering all relevant aspects of interventional immunology to set up a comprehensive scientific and translational program for cellular immunotherapy. I’m happy that the overall concept and quality of this program has been recognized by the German Council of Science and Humanities “, says Professor Beckhove, the RCI scientific Director.
